Are they certified or licensed? If they are a student, do they have references from a teacher or past clients? Could be the tutor available to work around your schedule? Are they available days, evenings, weekends? Do they've reliable transportation and will he or she show on time? Call their references and verify that they can adhere to a schedule. A tutor that accompany verified references is highly recommended.
